i was wondering do you have to participate in match, or can you apply to schools directly. im interested in GPR programs all over the country and would like a bit of control over where i end up.

if the school participates in MATCH, then you have to use it. there is no other way to apply there.

keep in mind, some schools do not participate in MATCH.

really, if you want control over where you end up, that is EXACTLY why MATCH was put into place. it will allow you to control where you go!

Most programs participate and some dont.
