hey all,

I will soon be applying for residency programs and was curious based on word of mouth/experience, salary post-residency, and training, what are the top residency programs. I am from NY and would want to stay local (there are a lot of them here) so if you are aware of great programs in NY please divulge. I am right now in the top 10 percent of my class and hope to be competitive come match day...thanks!!

I'm just a first year, so what do I know, but shouldn't you have asked this question a year ago for clerkships? I'm given to understand that the majority of people match into a program they rotated through. Do you not want to go to any of those programs?
