Hello,
I was curious if anyone knew where to find anesthesia residency vacancies. Most other specialties (Uro, Rad, EM, Psych, Peds, Surg) all have specific websites often associated with the respective academic/board certifying body. I have not found anything official for anesthesia other than the random unverified residentswap website. If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. I matched a Prelim and am hoping to go directly to a CA-1 without having to repeat the PGY-1 year at a categorical program.

What specialty were you applying for? The only swapping I know about was done by word of mouth, usually with the help of your local program director.

Not a swap. I was an umatched USMD. I fell pretty low on my list and ended up with just the prelim and no advanced positions.

could you share if your USMLE scores were below the national average for matching with those of us who are presently "on the fence" about appying this coming year to Anesthesia due to lower than average board scores?
