I am a periodontist from india. I am coming to usa on a f2 visa. i plan to apply for residency programs in us. is a observership program necessary for the same .How long should the observership program be for . Any program close to arizona tempe area???

Although I am not a resident nor applicant to the perio program I would like to share what I know. My very close friend wanted to do perio and he did a preceptership program in Perio and also made a strong resume ( research, observerships, camps etc) and gave boards.from what I know he really worked very hard towards it. From my understanding you already finished your postgrad from India so that would help you. When do you plan to come Incase you apply for precepterships? There are deadlines to those too. Hope it helps.
