I would like to know when you are in residency you get paid I read $3,320 a month, so how much do you take home after money comes out of your checks( student loans, etc.)?

Is that figure before tax, cuz I don't make that much. My salary is about $43000, and my takehome is like 2600 after you take out income tax.

Also, the majority of residents don't pay back significant amounts on our student loans; we are in deferment for economic hardship, or forbearance. We simply don't make enough money to make substantial payments.
