Unless you are applying to a school in your state of residency, do other schools require you provide proof of residency? Or do they not care as long as you are out of state?

No, I don't believe so. They want you to provide proof mainly for in and out-state tuition differences.

I was never asked to provide proof of residency for any medical school that I applied to (I did not apply to any state schools). I don't think I was even asked about it during interviews.
