My first post.
I am a sophomore in Miami Florida but did my HS from IL. I am trying to determine if I choose FL Med schools will I be consider as IS for FL, or IL will be my IS since my Parents still Live and Work their and they still claim me as there dependent. Or Can I claim both states as IS for Med School admission. I have IL Driver License but live in Dorms in FL and work on Campus in FL under Federal Work Study so do have Tax doc for FL.
I also read that one can not claim 2 States as residents but can claim one as IS and other as Stronger Ties and still get IS tuition in both. ? Planning to take MCAT in Jan 2017. IL and FL both has few good Med School but I really like Miller and UF Med school If I can get IS status in FL.
