residency termination

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
In Europe, there has been several cases where ppl have successfully forged exam papers, and started practicing as doctors. One bust his cover, because the psycho got too pretentious, and started boasting about stuff that was way beyond his league, contacts he never had, etc. And if programs only rely on LORs to find out reason of termination, I bet you can get into another residency by faking it. Apply to residencies one at a time, to minimize the ratio of ppl possibly finding out to ppl possibly handing you a job. I would do it. Whatcha got to lose anyway? They will most likely confront you if they'll report you, and that is the golden opportunity to bail. If then don't figure out, it is all cool. Just think of something probable.

nihilist, that won't work. If someone has been previously terminated or left a program, you can bet the program director of any new program/program applied to is going to telephone the PD of the old program. He's not going ot skim the letters of recommendation and never call the references or check the credentials.

Yeah, you'd think the other PDs would have done that to our german Leonardo DiCaprios as well, but they pulled off their scam successfully... But for additional security:

When talking to the new PD, admit that you had sex with the wife of the former PD, he found out, things got uncomfortable, you got put under a microscope, and when you accidentally did [insert something minor here], PD jumped on you, and that you only got an LOR because you had support from your superiors. Now, you realize that adultery would tick you off as well, but that shouldn't prevent you from becoming a good family physician. That might lower the credibility of the PD when called, and tell your new PD that he is opening up a can of worms when calling. Chance is high that some PD is a cheating scumbag as well, so you might even get some sympathy. Just fake an LOR that will go with the story. 😀
