question if i do say a year of FP or IM and then go into EM is Em then 2 more years for a combine of 3 years or is it 3 more years for a combine of 4, or is it straight 3 years of EM with no internship year in IM or FP or Surg

Most EM residency programs are 3 straight EM years. There are a few 4 year programs and even fewer that require an intern year then 3 years for a total of 4 years.

However, to reiterate most EM programs are straight 3 years. If you do a year of IM or FP you may be granted up to 6 months of credit towards your first year.

If you go to www.saem.org and go to residency catalog....you'll see a listing of every EM residency and length.

Well when I read the first post, I thought he was challenging me to a No Holds Barred, No-Caps, No-Punctuation showdown.

That was pure comedy. I love it!

If we declare you the winner, will you graciously accept our congratulations, resume your punctuationally correct ways, and change the handle to U.S.C. Diver?

Yeah, I think I made the word 'punctuationally' up.
