Currently I am a little mix of both....
My parents live in TN and my alma matter is UT. I'm currently finishing up my masters there as well.
Now as for residency in FL, you need to show living arrangements, utility bills, W-2 forms, drivers license, and such like that. Oh and it has to be validated 12 months before the time of matriculation to the school (or acceptance maybe)
As for me I have had an apartment in Kissimmee since 2000, Worked for a company in Orlando since 1998 and it was my only job (W-2's), my driver license is FL from 2001 when I had it reissued, and some various other forms of ID proving my residency.
I had to send them all into NSUCOM and they will get back to me. Its not as easy to get residency there as buying a condo. You have had to be in FL for a while.
