Hi,

So I am kind of in a unique situation. I grew up in the Philippines (I am an US Citizen, my parents are not), and I currently go to a private university in Georgia. When I apply to the Dental College of Georgia would they consider me as an instate student? (I have a Georgia driver's license). Since I didn't grow up in Georgia would this lower my chances at admissions?

You’d need to contact UGA and see what they need for you to be considered an instate student. Just having a drivers license might not be enough.

For my school I believe they require a drivers license, a valid address, and that you’ve worked 1 year in the state outside of school. But things change every year and every state is different.
