I saw that, but also I saw that resident’s post where he basically said he turned down a pretty good MD A to stay closer to family. This was on Reddit. He didn’t explicitly say he was in the class of 2024, but the context and clues in the post were too obvious imo.touro has matched someone into UCSF ortho in the past years and they have a lot of success in the match, being a CA resident, I would very much go to a well-established DO school over a brand new MD school with absolutely no data regarding the match

I really do think that story is an anomaly bc that person was undoubtedly going to excel wherever he went. I have a mutual friend who failed matching ortho from Touro ca.
