Thank you. My friend recently graduated & this incident happened during his senior year of college — would you say this is a definite “do not admit” situation for the next 7 years at least? How can my friend be able to show that they won’t do this in the future?
It will depend upon what the transgression was. A crime against a person, as opposed to a crime against property will have very negative consequences.

A prolonged period of good behavior demonstrating that mental health issues are under control would be needed. Medical school is a furnace and can break even healthy students.

Why did this friend do this in senior year? He should be smart enough to know not to do it.
