My wife is finishing up her chief year of residency in OB/GYN next summer. She has had quite a few informal job offers from local practices that she has worked with as a resident. Problem is, we don't really want to stay in the area we're in.
We kind of got stuck looking into this last minute as we'd planned to go to New Zealand for a year for my wife to practice there before settling down, but that fell through. We don't have anywhere else in particular in mind, just looking for somewhere that will be a good place to settle down now. The world (or country, rather) is our oyster. That said, that has made looking at jobs a bit different than I thought it would be. Word of mouth and whatnot isn't really in play as no the rest of the country doesn't know about her like the people here do.
Thus far, we've been doing our search on places like http://www.healthecareers.com/ and http://www.practicematch.com/. Is there anywhere else we should be looking? I just want to make sure we're not missing some other avenue that we should be pursuing for finding our place of permanent residence.
