I'm applying for the third time for the 2009 cycle....For the 2008 cycle I wrote an entirely new statement, for the 2009 cycle I just tweaked the statement a bit. Make sure to include any new experience related stuff in your tweaking though.

I agree with acgeorge on adding new experiences in. Make sure the school knows what you have done different from your past cycle. Keep your overall theme the same because your reasons to attend dental school have not changed, but integrate other valuable info in there.
