I need help in fixing up my resume.

1. My current job is not pharmacy related (I tutor spanish on the side and taking my pre-reqs full-time), should I mention it?

2. I had one pharmacy tech job for 2 months that I'm definitely mentioning (I was there full-time but I lost my job due to a Union employee that took over my job, it was an unforeseen situation)

3. Previous to that I was working as a cashier, do I still mention it?

Yes, I would mention those..and if asked, you can connect them back to pharmacy...both teaching and working as a cashier require dealing w/ people, etc.

--> Yes you should mention it. Someone told me that being in a health care field is to be a teacher for the rest of your life- educating patients on what needs to be done. This will show that you have the patience and ability to teach.

--> Yes, customer service is a big deal. You learned how to interact with customers / patients, and understand that they are not always happy with you or your service. During the interview, mention how you've resolved conflicts and problems arising from customer service aspect of your cashier experience.

Hope it helps. I would mention anything and everything you've done that can help you.

what would be the best format for a pharmacy resume application? would one even bother to write an objective since it's pretty obvious?
