Hey,
So I took the DAT in 2015 and got 20AA/21TS/21PAT/19BIO/20GC/25OC/17QR/19RC
Finished my undergrad with a 3.0 sGPA and a 3.14 oGPA. Since then I've done a Masters (30 credits) in one year and finished with a 3.9 GPA. I finished top 10 and was 1 of 2 students in a class of 85 to finish within one year. I took courses in my masters like Biochem, Micro, Cell Bio, Ex Phys, Systems Phys, Pharmacology, Neuroscience, Head and Neck Anatomy (Medical School Course, got an A), Back and Limbs Anatomy (Med Level), Abdomen and Perineum (Med Level). I applied to several schools and only have one interview so far. I am getting worried that what I have for my DAT and masters may not compensate for my low undergraduate GPA. I just find it really hard to come to terms with a retake considering I hit a 20 in the 3 categories (AA/TS/PAT), but with each passing week without any notice from dental schools I am increasingly getting worried. Any advice on what I should do? Should I retake before the year is over? NJ resident.
