Hey guys! I am a new member who took the DAT about a month ago and considering whether or not to retake it. My scores were actually a little lower than my Kaplan test and I thought the test was harder.
AA: 18
PAT: 17
Science AVG: 19
Bio:20
O chem: 19
G Chem: 18
RC: 18
QR: 16 (ouch)
GPA 3.47

Has anyone retaken the DAT? I want to retake the test but I am concerned that my new score might be lower. Does anyone have any advice or experience with retaking the test?

If I was in your position, I would retake it! You are one of the lucky ones that actually has time to retake it for the second time! Just study you butt off and look at the DAT books as your bible for next 6 weeks or so! I am doing the same, have to retake it!! (I know it sucks but thats the only way we can have a chance, especially now since it is soo competitve)!

Good luck!

Those are good scores but if you think you can do better then I'd take the test over again. Your GPA is defn in the range of applicants who are accepted but a great DAT will make you even more competitive. Just buckle down, hit the books hard, and do your absolute best next time around.
