Hi, I'm currently in a junior in college.
I have a bit low GPA 3.36 and average DAT AA 20 TS 20 PAT 21.
NYU is my first choice and I am going to apply next summer.
I just got one question. Which is better for my application: retaking DAT or doing a research in Oral Biology during next semester?
Please give any advice. Thank you in advance.

Those scores are good so you don't need a retake. That GPA needs work so I would focus on that for sure.

Why not both? If you think you can do better on the DAT then retake it. Research is a great EC and itll only take up about 5 or so hrs a week. But if time constraint is the issue then you should go for the research only and be sure to get good grades in your classes w/o having to stress yourself out by doing both the classes and studying for DAT.
