So I already took my DAT and posted my scores and breakdown, BUT, I have been reading mixed reviews about the PAT section. I saw a few threads saying it is important then others saying PAT and QR are not that important. My scores were

PAT- 17
Reading-18
Bio-19
Chemistry-20
QR-21
Ochem- 23
TS-20
AA-20

I have a 3.65 Overall and 3.5 science GPA´s. I ECs and shadowing. I wanted an opinion on whether PAT and/or RC will hold me back. OR IF I SHOULD RETAKE. I applied to 9 schools

Boston University Henry M Goldman School of Dental Medicine (BU)
Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine
Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine
New York University (NYU)
Nova Southeastern University (NSU)
Tufts University (TUF)
University of Florida (FLA)
University of Michigan (MICH)
Western University of Health Sciences (WESTU)

I am a Florida Resident and though all sections are above 17, PAT and RC being 17 and 18 can hurt. I was hoping for some serious opinions as I need to make a decision soon. Thanks

I think you should be fine. PAT does not play big into admissions from what I read. Your reading is average.

It really depends on the school. Many totally disreguard it but some like UCLA are semi-obsessed with it. Luckily for you, those schools are relatively few and I think the PAT won't be terribly important for the schools you listed.
