hi guys

im new here however i have known about the retake policy and retook 8 science courses and got my science gpa up from a 2.91 to a 3.45. im also thinking about retaking a few nonscience courses to raise my overall gpa from 3.47 to a 3.55. should i do it or is it not necessary? or should i just take new upper division science courses and raise both gpas?

thank you

Thank you and I'm applying next cycle so I do have some time on my hands.
Well, congrats on the science GPA increase. That is pretty substantial. I feel that it would be a nelgible increase in your overall GPA as a 3.47 isn't a terrible GPA. I guess it depends on what kind of timing you're looking for. If you're trying to apply this cycle, it isn't worth it, but if you're already not applying until next year and you're trying to stay in academics and work on other ECs then you might as well.
