I just got my canadian Dat scores back, and am planning to apply to as many private american schools as possible.

My scores are:

Academic Average:18
Science Average:19
RC:16
Bio:20
Chem:17
PAt:18
carving:15

I am considering retaking the DAT, but have heard that carving isn't too important for the states. My average for undergrad is about a 75-77% i don't know what GPA that is, I go to Uni of Western Ontario. i am fully prepared to retake the Dat, but only if i really really have no chance with these scores. Please give my your honest unbiased opinion

Have you already applied? Whats you cum GPA and Sci GPA?

My cum Gpa is a 3. something. Since my school gives percentages i would say about 77%. I don't know what that is in GPA. My science GPA should be about around 75%.

Wait for the next cycle and retake the DAT during summers. However, go for the US one this time, since the cdn DAT is only offered twice a year.

Apply as soon as the cycle opens up. My file was not complete until early November and I have no acceptances with a 3.5 + sgpa, cgpa and DAT scores of 21/22/16 (AA/TS/PAT).
You can see how much I'm suffering because of late applications.😡

I don't know your exact GPA, but just to be on the safe side I would retake as well. Like others have mentioned, retake the American DAT since it gives you more options.

Yeah I would retake and apply early next year!
