Hey Guys,

Graduated school a year ago with 3.5 cGPA 3.3sGPA. i got a c in physio I & II and bio chem back in sophmore year. My senior year i took 8 upper div science courses and got all As in.

I have a 40 on the mcat, 1.5 yr volunteering in a nonclinical setting, 2.5 yrs shadowing (1nce a week), 1 year of clinical research, 4 years of laboratory research (no publications, 1 poster :-/), 1.5 yrs work experience, 2 leadership positions - president of fraternity, public relations for a premed group.

I'm considering retaking classes through extension at my undergrad college. Should I retake these physio classes? or would it be better to just take diff upper div bio courses. I know that most recommend taking diff. courses because if you retake a course your expected to get an A in ... but at the same time these are physio courses. i dont want to it seem that i cant handle the physio...

Retaking for grade replacement only works for osteopathic schools, for which I'd assume you're a shoo in given your mcat score.

I'd leave it be and focus on the rest of your application which seems to have a strong upward trend. Good luck.
