Hey guys,

This sounds like a silly question but the reason why I ask is because potentially, I could raise up the science gpa number to the next .1 level by retaking this. There is also a C to retake and while obviously it would have a greater impact on the gpa when retaken, it is a course that I'd have to pay 4-yr tuition for, whereas I can retake my B-grade class at a CC (that I can walk to from home saving up even more money) Is a retake of a B (for grade replacement purposes) a big problem in the eyes of Adcoms (particulary for DO schools) or should I just make the investment into the C-graded class at the 4 year?

Retake that C and get an A. And from what I have heard, retaking a B makes you come off as neurotic and a hopeless perfectionist. However, I also look forward to Goro's opinion to your post.

Not worth retaking a B. That is an acceptable grade. Remember most of us aren't 100% perfect. You can still be accepted rocked school and be a good doctor with a couple Bs.

Thank you guys for your input. Much appreciated
