How bad does a look to retake a class multiple times?

I'm retaking Bio 1 this summer. I dropped it the first time because I was sick. I got a D + the second time. Hopefully this third time will be a charmer.

How are you doing in other science classes?

Personally I think it gets worse the more times you have to retake it. Having said that though, to the admissions staff I think by retaking something, it shows that you weren't satisfied with your performance the times before, however they would like to see you do stellar the first pass through.

I was a little hesitant retaking Bio 1 for the third time, but I don't have a choice. I can only prove to the admissions board by getting an A this time. It's an upward trend from a D+.

You have to take it because its not a C, and D-schools accept a C & up.

Yep! That's a prerequisite and won't even count unless it's a C or greater. Aim for an A! You can do it!
