Retaking a failed class

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
ACOMAS, the DO medical school application service will replace the first grade with the second grade when you retake. (AMCAS is the MD med school application service.)

According to LizzyM (school admin) retaking classes is not always the best way to go. Unless you did really badly, adcomms don't really care if you can get an A in a freshman year chem class.... If you are worried about bringing your gpa up, I would probably take more upper division science classes and get A's in those.

What happens if you fail an upper division class?
