Retaking Classes for pharm pre-reqs.

Hey guys! Does it matter if I retake my classes at another university (meaning different from where I attended my undergrad). I go to a private university, and summer classes are so expensive. I am hoping to take them at a public university or maybe even a community college to save some money. Since I am a senior, MC (where I attend undergrad now) will not let those classes transfer on to my current transcript. Should I still take those classes at a public university and get credit for them? My plan is just to get the classes that I take at the public university transferred over to my Pharmcas applications (official transcripts, of course). I will be graduating in December 2018. I want to send in my applications for the 2019 round. I need to retake Organic 1 and Organic 2.


Side note: Any pointers on applying to the UIC College of Pharmacy? I am looking to apply there. I read some reviews that mention it has a great program. I haven’t really heard any good reviews about the pharmacy program in my home state, so I am currently looking at out of state programs.

The best thing to do would be to email the admissions people at the pharmacy schools you're applying to. Retaking coursework at another university should be fine, but you'd have to ask them about the community college.
