Hey Guys,
I just have a question about taking "extra" classes to help my BCP GPA at Cal State Universities...I graduated from UCLA and my GPA aint that great..I am figuring out a back up plan if this cycle does not turn out that well. I was hoping to take graduate classes or even repeat pre-reqs that I didnt do too well (C's). My question is how can I enroll as a student who just wants to take classes and not aim to pursue another degree..I am a bit confused when looking at CSU application sites and selecting things because I dont want to enroll myself as a student aiming to take all these unnecessary classes to pursue another major...Can someone clarify the process I have to undertake in taking extra classes..i guess i would call it a unofficial post bacc?
Sorry guys if I am confusing in my post..

enroll as a non matriculated/visiting student/taking courses for isolated credit. just call the registrar and ask them which app you'd need to fill out for that. and hmm try not to repeat courses, if you can take new upper level bio's that you didnt take in uG, i guess if and when u get desperate (run out of new classes to take) maybe then u could retake a class that u did really poorly in.

👍 Yepp. Advisers at a couple dental schools gave me the same advice. Don't retake unless you failed it (lower than a C), just take more advanced classes.
