YAYYY im soo happy about that bc one of my class i got a E 🙁 but when i retook it i got an A and the other i withdraw and then got an A im soo happy that they see that, bc i worked my brain out, and when i finished i found at uni they dont care and it wont effect my GPA. but now i think it was not useless

hey guys, okay can someone tell me if i got an E on the first attempt and then got an A on the second attempt what will it average out to (will it average out to if i took it at a CC?)

and how much will it if effect if i withdraw from a class and retake it and get an A? will school realize the effect and the upward trend?

W (withdrawal) will not affect your GPA.
Taking a class over and doing better the second time is good, but both grades will stay in the calculation for overall GPA. The new grade does not cancel out or replace the older one

okay so will the class i took at the community college make my GPA better with the withdraw class when I'm apply to dental school?

The W, assuming it’s not a WF (withdrawn potentially Failed) shouldn’t be factored into your gpa calculation. So if you retake at a CC, you should get the slight boost in gpa. However, schools could do their own calculations and factor the W as a failing grade and average the 2, in which case your gpa could rise slightly.
