Retaking DAT question---HELP!!!

Hi,

I took the DAT on August 26 but unfortunately I have to retake it. My school deadline is December 1st and my 90 days will be up on November 26. Do you know if i can pay and schedule the DAT for november 28 well before my 90 days are up or does ADA wait till the 90 days are up to process my application?? any help will be apreciated

In regards to that December 1st deadline, I believe those deadlines for schools are just to have your application complete. Thus if you have already completed your application for that school (AADSAS sent, LOR's, any fees, secondaries and your first DAT score) you do not have to send in another score by December 1st. Take the DAT when you are ready and then send in scores (probably no later then Jan in my opinion), then they will look at the new DAT scores over your old one and your application is already complete. However, I would call the specific school and ask for their advice about the deadline and submitting new DAT scores.

Don't worry about taking it in December, because a friend of mine took the DAT on December twenty something and applied around the same time and got accpeted to Maryland Dental school. His DAT score was: AA 21 and (PAT 20 I think). So just relax and STUDY the PAT over and over again, because the TOP-FRONT-END questions are really hard😡 . And you will usually run out of time, so I will say concentrate on PAT and for Gchem and Orgo just study KAPLAN practice material, BIO -- to be honest I don't know but KAPLAN by itself wont get you more than 19.
The only thing I studied for DAT was just KAPLAN review and did most of the practice tests, I didn't even take the class I just used someone else's materials.
RC: just skim through the passage first and then go through the questions. Let me tell you how much this methos works, the first time I took a DAT practice test I got 8 and I only finished one passage. Then I used this skimming method, I got a 20 on the KAPLAN practice tests and 19 on the REAL DAT. So, if it workd for me it should work for everyone.
QR: just use your time well. I messed up on this section because I did not use my time right, I got 18.
