Hi guys,

If I retake my DAT, do schools look at the most recent scores or the score that is higher? Let's say I retake my DAT but end up doing worse than the first time, would schools look at the best of the two scores or just the most recent one?

Also, how do I let the schools know I would be retaking it? Is there an option on the application that mentions that?

Thanks!

I think it differs depending on school. Some take the highest score, some take the most recent. Check the websites of the schools you want to apply to.

most schools will consider the recent scores, but some schools do consider the highest. so if your most recent score is the highest, great.
