Retaking Physics

I am looking for a few sound opinions on this idea.

I took My first semester of physics 2A (trig based, classical mechanics) early on in college and unfortunately received a C despite what I felt to be my best effort at the time. A few years have passed, my work ethic has increased significantly and I was able to get an A in Second semester physics.

Now I have the option to either retake physics 2A at A CC (My university doesn't allow retakes for Passing grades) or Sack up and take a second semester of Calc while taking first semester Calc based Physics. This would allow me to avoid the average of retakes, but add a lot more work onto my plate, and I am concerned with how much more difficult taking black based physics would be.

I'm not sure what 'sack up' means or what 'black based physics' is.

If I were you, I would finish your degree at the university, and take Physics I at your local CC. That's the least expensive option. Do not take calculus-based Physics. You will struggle to pass.

I took calc based physics my freshman year,

in class i was like = 😴
in the exam I was like = 😱 😱
When i found out there was an algebra based class at a local CC I was like = 😡

Cool, thanks y'all. I was hoping that's what I would hear. CC's gonna be a lot harder to get into a class but i guess it's worth it to avoid calc.

Calc based physics is not much harder than algebra-based. The problems are probably a little more tedious but it takes just as much studying. The issue here is taking it the same time as Calc I. I did that and it was quite a rough semester.

Taking calc based physics rather than algebra based makes it more difficult than necessary. Plain and simple.
