I failed Step 3 and am planning to retake it again.
For my first attempt I submitted a Post Graduate Training (PGT) Form that was required by the state that I selected on the application form. It was a real hassle because it had to be signed and notarized by my former PD (prelim residency).
It says on the PGT form that "PGT forms dated more than 45 days before receipt of the application are not considered current and will not be accepted".
I am embarrassed to ask my former PD to submit another form.
Can I sit for another state board that does not require the PGT form and still take the Step 3 exam in the state that does require it?
Please advise.
