This might sound like a dumb question but I have poor vision in my left eye due to retinal coloboma, which cannot be fully corrected to 20/20. I am starting optometry school in the fall and was wondering if this could be a problem when learning things in labs and clinical settings.

Basically you lose stereopsis for skills like binocular indirect ophthalmoscopy. That said, you can be monocular and still go through OD school so you’ll be fine.
