I retook General Physics 1 this summer. First time around I got a C, this time I got a B.

I would have gotten an A had I not missed a quiz. It's crazy that one quiz could drop me from an A to a B. It's my own fault, I overslept. The class was 8AM and I was up all night jerking around. I tried asking the instructor for a retake at the time but he wouldn't allow for it. Is there anything I can do about this quiz? Do I even have any options?

Chill bruh. Do well in the rest of your classes. Trends matter infinitely more than one data point.

The short answer: no.

The professor had a clear policy regarding quizzes. You know what time the class is, and it wouldn't be fair for any other student if you professor decided to give you preferential treatment.
