Ok, I guess the moderators didn't like my post because of the link, but this is a real question. If this is not the correct thread please let me know.

I'd like to get advice from anyone who left residency and later returned to it. If you could PM, I'd appreciate, thanks!

I had too many tabs open and posted wrong location, then it was removed. You make that comment on a lot of threads I noticed. Why do you feel the need to troll people?

Well I figure a grumpy moderator troll to be following a feed so closely, but if it was a legit issue he could just PM, and not delete a real post. Comments like 'wuss' and 'is she hot?' are pretty borderline.

If anyone has experience or know someone r/e residency returning please send a message or post, thanks!

Yes, you're right. I was embarrassed by my mistake earlier but should not have responded as I did, my apologies for diverting the thread.

The focus of my post is to get help with the residency/licensing process, to decide whether I should finish school at the risk of needing LOA from residency.

I have a personal illness that may require time off during my career. I'm currently on a medical LOA, and my dean has me concerned that residencies would flag this as a 'liability' for needing time off. Someone who would leave suddenly and put the workload on other residents. I understand this, and would never want to do so. I hope to only go forward as a responsible physician.

But it has made me concerned that I should not unless I'm certain that I'll be able to finish without breaks. (which I can't be, of course!) So I know others have experience with it, but may not broadcast it on a thread.

I'm targeting FM or Pediatrics.
