Hi, I am a reapplicant for this cycle. I am applying with a higher MCAT, way more clinical and volunteer experience, and a new PS.

I am finally at a point where I am happy with my PS. My old PS was more research oriented, while my new one appeals to a wider range of schools.

However, my old PS was still great in its own way. I am still reusing 25% of my old PS since there are experiences that I just cannot afford not to mention. I did a tremendous amount of editing and was wondering if this would be fine for my new PS?

Yes that should be fine. Reapplication doesn't mean you need to discard everything you did in your old application. So you should be good to go by adapting some stuff from old PS.

Awesome! I am so relieved haha

for a moment i thought your avatar was dynamic and was supposed to reflect your enthusiasm in your answer. LOL

Sorry for the followup question. Would I ever look lazy to adcoms for this? I plan on overhauling my secondaries too, but I truly am happy with my new PS (which includes part of my old statement), I am not doing this out of laziness.

Bump. Hoping to get a few more comments on my new and improved PS.
