  1. Medical Student
So, I have taken a few years off since college and as my first semester of medical school approaches, I feel like I could really use some refreshers on the material I studied so long ago. Does anyone have any recommendations for good quality review books (for bio and chem in particular)? I'm trying to find books that aren't necessarily college text books, but aren't medical school books either. Maybe I'm looking for something that doesn't exist, but I hope not!
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks so much -
RL

i read Med School Confidential and the advice suggested was that you dont want to do what you plan on doing....

you'll get enough studying to make your brain explode so enjoy your time right now as much as possible. dont waste time reviewing.

I think just about every current medical student will echo this statement. Enjoy your last few months of guilt-free fooling around.

yeah, I know... but it's not that I want to get ahead, i just want to catch up to where i think every other incoming applicant will be! any other thoughts??
