Review texts for 2nd year and Step 1 prep

So 2nd year is starting in a couple of weeks and I'm still trying to get a grasp of the best review materials for:

Microbiology
Pharmacology
Pathology

I think I want to use Pathoma for pathology and perhaps supplement it with goljan. I don't really know what are good REVIEW books for pharm and micro, can someone help me out here?

Also, regarding step 1 Qbanks, I want to get UWorld and Kaplan, but not really sure when/how to use these.

I would get kaplan qbank and use that alongside your course. Uworld use for your intensive board studying at the end of m2.

I heard pathoma is really good for path, for boards but does not go into enough detail for class. goljian is a good book, but is an overkill for the boards. Kaplan is great for path both for class and boards, BUT only if you accompany it with the videos.

Pharm- Hands down kaplan
Micro- FA is great. I personally always though had a problem with Micro and classifying, and Kaplan Microbio really helped with that with the invaluable charts and tables at the end of the book
