how important is reviewing the notes you take in the intro classes (bio, physics, chem) and the harder classes like organic chem for the mcat?

like let's say you're taking bio 1 and chem this semester. would revising notes that you take for the class two semesters down the road be of any help when it's time to actually prepare for the mcat?
