I'm sorry, but which riverside program are you talking about?

Riverside county is affiliated with Loma Linda. Are there any other allopathic programs in Riverside?

I don't think UC riverside has a hospital or an IM program per se. I have never heard of a riverside county hospital, though I guess it doesn't surprise me that it exists. I think there is a Riverside hospital in Ohio that has an IM program... perhaps this is what the OP is asking about?

or could be riverside methodist, ohio. (what did people do before google?) so dj, end the suspense- is it ohio or cali?

riverside methodist in columbus, ohio

Didn't match there but I live very close and have done several rotations there including medicine. Any questions I can answer?

I interviewed there about 3 months ago for a prelim medicine position and know a bit about the program. pm me for details -- i have the info packet about the categorical program. in short, great, updated hospital with FREE FOOD for residents. The residents seem really happy there, though very very busy.

I interviewed at Riverside and was very pleased with what I saw. Columbus is a great city, and the hospital was AMAZING (the ER especially)! I found the PD and the residents to be extremely friendly and there seemed to be great camradarie. The fellowship match rate was stated as approx. 40%. Free and unlimited food! The only negative think I would say is that if you are interested in going into ID, you won't see as much pathology in that area (less IVDA, less HIV).
