I am an Rn with ambulatory care experiences and want to apply to NP school. I have been rejected by the school I applied to and wonder if it because I do not work in the acute care settings. What do I do? No hospitals will hire me to work in acute care without acute care experiences. I am stuck.

depends on the kind of np program you want to attend.
an fnp program should be fine with outpt/ambulatory experience.
an acute care np or emergency np program will want relevant experience....
or you could just apply to pa programs which love outpt/primary care experience....
