This is a totally stupid question, to ask but I am trying to remember all the names of the compounds correctly. And according to the roadmap 3 in the destroyer, the 5 carbon ring attached where C is double bonded undergoes Ozonlysis and gives a double bonded on the 5 membered ring and a C=O and 2 H's firstly waht are these products called and also, what is the name of this compound that makes the Ch3Br on the ring go to a double bonded carbon. The name of this compound( CH3)3 CO-Na+/(CH3)3 COH????

( CH3)3 CO-Na+ is Sodium tert butoxide ion
(CH3)3 COH is tert butanol
I think that the name of the compounds, but I am not sure if that is your question though.

yea.. is there also a specific name of the reaction ... i think Ch3Co_Na is the william ester
