I don't know, but I too would like to Know, I've been looking for a good atlus.

ETA: I was just up at my schools bookstore and they stated that it had just come out and they didn't have any in stock, but they're ordering one in for me to look at.

Alrighty, I just purchased this, and my initial impression is quite favorable.

There is a large selection of pics which are well organized and covering a good range from histologic . With pics of CT/MRI, histology slides, post autopsy findings, immunostains, as well as IMHO, the more important to clinical medicine, dermatologic manifestations of diseases. Organization is done by organ system.

It has a decent index, the book itself Is well bound and the pages feel like quality paper. Each page has 3 decently sized pics with descriptions. Over all, I am going to have to say that it is it is well worth the $50. I wish I had had this book before I took my Step 1 boards.

I have had this atlas for a couple months now and have been using it to study for step 1. I wish that I would have gotten it sooner bc I think it is a great resource. It is divided into systems and works as a good coorelate to BRS path. There is also text in the margins highlighting key concepts. One of the main difficulties using brs path is there are no images. This provides the images so that you have a picture in your mind when thinking about each condition/disease. For the cost it is well worthh it and the book is really well made- hard cover and glossy images.
