How important is it to apply early? From last years interview thread only ppl with high stats get interview.

I get the impression that applying early can be the difference between an interview and being denied if any of your stats are questionable. This forum isn't exactly the best place the get a sense for the stats you need to be accepted. Check out averages for the schools you're interested in for a better sense. And my word of advice is to apply ASAP.
