Hey everyone,

God knows my stats aren't great, so I would like to give myself the best opportunity for acceptance as possible. I hope to have everything completed before June so that I can submit ASAP.

My question is (probably a dumb one, i dont know how rolling admissions works)..are there any parts of the application i can just update or fill in later and still have my application be considered "complete"? ie) can i submit old DAT marks, and then submit new scores later on? or can i press submit without having all my reference letters?

DAT scores have nothing to do with the application, you send them in completely separately, so you're good there.

As far as the LOR's, you just put your letter writers email address in and the rest is on them, you can submit your app before they send the letters in. I also believe that you can add additional letter writers after you submit your app.

All rolling admission means is that starting in Mid August to Early September, the dental schools will start looking at apps, and if they see an App they like, they can accept it (announced on Dec 1st though) - and it's completely possible that if they only have 80 seats and the first 80 apps they look at are completely amazing, they can take those people (and if they accept), they're done with admissions for that year - even though the deadline for applications is in December.

I guess the opposite of rolling admissions would be that they don't look at any of the apps until the deadline, and then they compare all of the apps they received and take the best of that. Dental schools don't do this, so you're much better off getting your App in ASAP.

Hope that helps!
