desipardesi said:Hey everyone,
I was hoping to get some input/feedback/advice on my situation. I was accepted into the BU masters program last month and was set on going there, but just today got an email saying that i was accepted to the RFUMS program. It's all so last minute though that im not sure what to do. Orientation is next week, most of the housing near the school is filled up, and i have not had a chance to fill out loans or anything for the chicago program. According to the website, most of the deadlines have already passed so how do they expect people to enroll so late in the process? Anybody have any idea if its at all realistic to go for Chicago when its all so last minute?? any insight at all would be helpful.
richc said:About two weeks ago it wasn't that hard to find a place to live and several people here were looking for roommates. As for some of the other deadlines, they don't seem to be that strict. My health insurance can't be activated until the first because I need a letter of enrollment and I was told the RF won't give them out until either orientation or the first day of class (forgot which it was).
As for those of you either in or were in the program, anyone know which books are recommended? I went to the campus bookstore yesterday and was told to come back next week so I couldn't take a look through the books themselves.
