Hi. I just thought I'd start up a post for anyone who has been accepted and plans on attending Rosalind Franklin's DPT program starting summer of 2014. I just found out that I was accepted two days ago, and I plan on attending. Is there anyone else in the same boat?

I recently received my acceptance as well and I am so stoked! I guess I should start apartment hunting and all that jazz... although technically I'm still waiting to hear back from some other schools before I make my final decision. But still, it looks like an amazing school and I know I'd be happy there! 🙂

Ive been offered interviews at George Washington University and also Rockhurst, however I'm going to have to decline because I know I'd be happier at RF at this point. Also I have no money or time to travel haha.

Waiting to hear back from Uni of Flordia, Regis, Uni of Colorado, Northwestern, Uni of Madison-WI, and KU Med. If somehow I'm lucky enough to get accepted to any of the latter three I'll probably end up there instead of RF. How about you? Any other schools you're waiting on?

I've declined a lot of other interviews as well. I'll interview at Univ. of Indianapolis to see what their program has to offer in a couple weeks. Then I'll go from there. I think I'll be attending RF though.

I received an email November 1st saying my application was "under consideration". Not sure how to interpret that, whether it is just being reviewed or if i am in the maybe pile?

Ferrerm: We all got that email. It means its being reviewed by the admissions committee. I received an interview after receiving that email. I'm assuming that they will consider your application for the January 25th interview. I highly doubt they would invite you for the Nov. 16 interview since that's next week.

I received the "under consideration" email on oct 17 and received the interview invitation email on oct 22. It may be a different timeline for you since you are applying close to the interview date. They put a lot of applicants on the waitlist. From this thread, I think I saw 1 person admitted and 4 people waitlisted. You still have a shot at the jan 25th interview. You never know the answer until they tell you. Good luck!!!

I had my interview on October 12th, and I received an acceptance email on the 24th to give everyone an idea of when they might hear something. Best of luck to everyone.

Also, for people who have gone through the interview, what do they mean when they say there will a critical thinking exam?

The critical thinking exam was a multiple choice exam kind of like the format of standardized testing. You cannot prepare for it in any way but when you are taking it, my suggestion is to read the directions for each section. Good luck!

I was accepted to RFUMS ten days after the interview on 11/16, and even though I really like their program I declined because of a two-hour commute each way. Good luck to all of you!

Congrats on getting in! Hopefully your declining gets me off the wait list.... If I could only be so lucky!
