Rosalind Franklin SMP or similar programs?

I am looking at applying to Rosalind Franklin's SMP in BMS. Does anyone have any thoughts or experiences regarding this SMP? I have heard some negative things about it but that was from people who did it a couple of years ago and it looks like it has changed since then.

I would also really appreciate if anyone had any thoughts on other good SMPs. I am trying to stay in the Illinois area, but it seems that most of the other SMPs in Illinois have already closed their app cycle for a fall 2022 start.

SMPs are dime a dozen, but the only one I know of in Illinois, besides RFU, is Loyola University MSMP program.

I can't really speak much about RFU, as I have heard mixed reviews so it's hard to say.
I would just try to look here or on reddit of peoples experiences with RFU.

I was researching this school a while back when I was thinking about doing an SMP and someone on reddit said that they got almost all As and she still wasn't accepted, so apparently excelling in the program is not enough. I think it's risky and very expensive.
