I just got an email about my first interview, at Rosalind Franklin on January 21st. I know that part of their interview process is in a group, and also involves a critical thinking examination. I was wondering if anybody has been through an interview there before, and how prepared/did with it. I appreciate any insight!

I went to the interview in November and I ended up being waitlisted. The whole process isn't too bad. The interview usually consists of about 3-4 other candidates with a professor, alumnus and a current student. The interview lasts about 30 and I would say each candidate only got to speak for about 6-8 minutes max. There were 3 questions and if I remember correctly they were: 1) How has undergrad prepared you for the rigor of physical therapy school? 2) Why PT? 3) If you caught a student cheating how would you handle the situation? I felt like I got so little time during the interview so make sure everything you say counts. I would bet you get different questions so don't prepare for just the questions I outlined. Overall, I felt it went pretty smooth and I wouldn't get too worried about it.

tdmonster99, thanks a lot for the input! Do you think it is necessary to stay in Chicago for a while after the interview? Say like was there a follow-up thing afterwards? I need to make travel plans.

Anyone else decided on Rosalind Franklin? Attending the preview day?

I was accepted to Rosalind and will be attending this summer. Did anyone go to the preview day? If so, did they mention any way to get in touch with other students regarding housing? I will be moving to the area for school and it would be nice to have a roommate(s) to make costs more affordable. If so, let me know!

brrnieha, did you attend the second round of interviews, and if so, when did you find out about your acceptance? I attended the interview in November and was waitlisted. Now that both interviews are complete I'm hoping that I come off the waitlist very soon! Congratulations on the acceptance, btw.
